Seth Cheeks | Google NYC
I grew up skateboarding and saturated in skate culture. This creative outlet has influenced my entire life and inspired me to focus on design as a career. This path of skating and design also led me to Brooklyn and working at Google NYC as a Sr. Visual Designer.

I help product teams stay focused on the user, attain the highest quality of brand visualization, and remain aligned with product excellence values.

Solving problems with design is my day to day. Design solutions come in many forms and functions, some are highly interactive with motion, while others may be simple sketches on paper.

Below are some places I've worked, a few brands I've worked with, and some recognition I've received along the way.

Awards | Recognitions

FWA, One Show Interactive Silver Pencil, Cannes Bronze Lion (Cyber), SXSW Social Media & People's Choice Finalist, Andy’s Shortlist, D&AD In the Book (Branding), Gold Clio (Innovative Media), AICP Winner (Experiential Next Award), Gold London International Awards (Environmental), IxDA Interaction Awards (Expressing), and seriously my favorite award ever was a Pixel Award 2006 'Best Personal Portfolio'. The site I created won the Pixel Award and was pretty hidious. A Flash site that had animation overload and tons of hidden easter eggs all over the site. Needless to say it inspired me to keep pushing and never settle.
